Emma Watson is missing a leg for Burberry...

Emma Watson and her brother pose for Burberry

In an apparent photo touch-up nightmare, Emma Watson's right leg seems to be curved and mysteriously disappear. While it could be that her leg is hiding behind her brothers, that explanation seems unlikely (is her foot resting on a small stool behind him?). This touch-up job even beats Demi Moore's recent hip scandal (she still denies that her photo was touched up, claiming that she doesn't have hips). Emma Watson will have a hard time claiming she doesn't have a leg though...

2010 People's Choice Awards winners....

In awards season, the main out-cast that truly means nothing is the People's Choice Awards wherein the public (mostly under the age of 17) votes on the winners. This means that such films as Twilight: New Moon can sweep an awards show as it did last night, and Katherine Heigl can win an award for (are you sitting down?) acting. These awards really don't mean anything, and you can pretty much guess which movie will win based on how much money it made and its popularity, but just in case you care, here is the full list of winners after the jump...

January 7th, The Candy Shop...

The Candy Shop

-The Hobbit will begin filming this June. The film is the prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy and will be released in two parts, the first in December 2011, and the second the following year. Peter Jackson is writing the script, and Guillermo del Toro will be directing. So far, Ian McKellan is the only cast member from the original films confirmed to reprise his role. It still remains to be seen if Hugo Weaving, Cate Blanchett and Andy Serkis will return. Read more at Screen Rant

-Jennifer Lopez told Latina Magazine that she thinks she should have won an Oscar for El Cantante. “I feel like I had that [Oscar worthy role] in El Cantante, but I don’t even think the academy members saw it. I feel like it’s their responsibility to do that, to see everything that’s out there, everything that could be great.” She also wants one for her work in Gigli, Anaconda, and Maid in Manhattan. Read the full interview at Latina

-Taylor Lautner has become the highest paid teen star making 7.5 million to play opposite Tom Cruise in the film Northern Lights. Lautner is 17 years old. He will play a gifted pilot who faces off with his controlling, billionaire father. Controlling? Billionaire? Sounds like Tom isn't stretching to much with this role.

-Katy Perry and Russell Brand are engaged! Congrats to the strange happy couple.

-Take a look at what Madonna sees everyday. Her model boy-toy / boyfriend, Jesus Luz posed recently for Erik Asla whose shots will appear in a photography book entitled Icon. Jealous much?

Racist KFC commercial...

Check out this racist KFC commercial. It will make your jaw drop for 1 of 3 reasons:

1) Mmmm... that mouth-watering chicken sure looks good.
2) What's that white person doing surrounded by all those black people?
3) That's racist!

Wait a week, KFC will be pulling this commercial and issuing an official apology.

The LOST Supper...

Brand new promo shot for season 6 of LOST

With the last season of LOST premiering on ABC less than a month away (on February 2nd), THR sat down to talk to Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse about their hit show. Read some highlights below (including the fact that Ian Sommerhalder and Dominic Monaghan will return), and be sure to read the full interview on THR HERE.

Lindelof: The definitive edition of "Lost" ends this May on ABC, and that is the story that we have to tell. It has a beginning, middle and end. That ending will not have cliffhangers, or be set up in such a way that people will be saying, "Clearly they're going to make more of these."

Cuse: We feel tonally it's most similar to the first season of the show. We're employing a different narrative device, which we feel is creating some emotional and heartfelt stories, and we want the audience to have a chance in the final season to remember the entire history of the show. So we have actors coming back like Dominic [Monaghan] and Ian [Sommerhalder]. We're hoping to achieve a circularity of the entire journey so the ending is reminiscent of the beginning.

Lindelof: Look, it would be nice to look back and say, "We love every episode of 'Lost,' and every episode turned out the way we wanted it to." There are shitty episodes of "Lost" that we wish we had never written. But had we not written them we would be in a different situation now, because we ran out of ideas, we stalled, then the network realized what we had been saying from early on -- that "Lost" needed an end date. And now here we are six years later on broadcast with a show that is -- not what it once was [in the ratings] -- but still performing, and we're ending it on our own terms because we had shitty episodes.

"Shrek" moves out and "Promises, Promises" moves in...

Shrek has closed and the party is now "ogre" on Broadway. Did you get that? Ogre instead of over? Funny huh? The producers of the show sure thought so...

Anyway, Promises, Promises starring Sean Hayes and Kristen Chenowith is moving in to the same theatre that the green monster played, The Broadway Theatre on, you guessed it, Broadway! Here are some snap shots of the change over in process. Click HERE to read more about the show...

Jon Gosselin kills the Ed Hardy clothing line...

THIS

PLUS THIS

EQUALS THIS

 ED HARDY IS DEAD!

Jon Gosselin can now add "Clothing Line Destroyer" to his prestigious resume, right along with "Dead Beat dad". Now that Ed Hardy clothes can be seen on clearance racks across America, Gosselin can single-handedly be credited with the demise of this famous Douche Bag Clothing Line.

Here are some fashion pointers and tips for Mr. Audigier from WEZ Candy:
1) Don't make a fat old man the poster child for your clothing line.
2) Don't make clothes.

Just because you can buy cheap Ed Hardy clearance at your local Marshall's (these 2 shots were snapped in NYC - the racks were over-flowing), doesn't mean that you should. Resist the urge to buy any Ed Hardy - if you are spotted wearing the over decorated, bejeweled, bedazzled shirts or pants anywhere, people will know it's the stamp of a washed up reality TV star douche bag. And you don't want that do you?

Twyla Tharp to bring Frank Sinatra's "Come Fly Away" to Broadway...

According to the Associated Press, Broadway director / choreographer Twyla Tharp is bringing her latest show inspired by a famous singer to Broadway. She partnered with Billy Joel to bring Movin' Out to the stage winning a Tony in the process (Best Choreographer) and later teamed with Bob Dylan to bring The Times They Are A-Changin' to Broadway which only lasted one month due to miserable sales and reviews. She isn't going to let one bump in the road destroy her though, she's back, and this time she's working on the songs of a singer who's long gone, but whose voice can still be heard loud and clear: Frank Sinatra. The show is called Come Fly Away (oddly missing a ( ' ) that was in the other two titles) and it will be a dance musical just like the other two. It is conceived, choreographed and directed by Tharp. Producer James L. Nederlander announced that it will open March 25 at the Marquis Theatre, with preview performances beginning March 1.

The show will follow four dance couples as they deal with break-ups, make-ups and hook-ups and all things love. They will of course be dancing to such classic Sinatra songs as "Fly Me to the Moon", "My Way", and "That's Life".

The show has already played a wildly successful run in Atlanta, where it was titled Come Fly With Me.

January 5th, The Candy Shop...

The Candy Shop

-Vince Vaughn got married to his long time girlfriend Kyla Weber this past Saturday. The two had a private ceremony with only their closest friends invited. And no, Jennifer Aniston did not show up in black. Congratulations to the happy couple!

-Avatar is getting ready to become the second highest grossing film of all time. Will it surpass Titanic though? Read more at THR

-Christina Aguilera is releasing a new CD in March! She just announced that it will be titled "Bionic" and the first track will be "Glam" which is described as a "poppy, hip-hop inflected" number. She collaborates with Goldfrapp, Ladytron and M.I.A on the album. It will be great to hear from her again as "Back to Basics" in 2006 was her last studio release.

-Sean Penn rejoins the cast of the Three Stooges. As originally announced, he will play Larry opposite Benicio Del Toro as Moe, and (reportedly) Jim Carey, as Curly.

-Sherlock Holmes 2 won't be made if the director continues with his reported homosexual plot line between Holmes and Watson. Robert Downey Jr. said recently in an interview about the film that Holmes is a "very butch homosexual." This has the owner of the Holmes estate up in arms. She said, "I am not hostile to homosexuals, but I am to anyone who is not true to the spirit of the books." Read more at Contact Music

Last week to see "Ragtime" on Broadway...

If you have never seen Ragtime... If you have seen Ragtime before... If you were in Ragtime... GO SEE THE MUSICAL ON BROADWAY THIS WEEK! This amazing show is closing early due to low ticket sales, but got a one week extension. The show was supposed to close yesterday, but will now shutter for good on Sunday, after 8 more shows.

This revival is both grand and intimate, allowing the small simple moments of life to be captured effortlessly on stage, while maintaining the show's epic nature. You will be swept away in music and song as 10 years in our nation's history are acted out before you. Many of the problems with the first Broadway production have been solved by adding a lot more heart and continuity. The cast is brilliant, and they all work together as a strong ensemble.

WEZ Sez: Go see this show! One week left, you will regret missing it...
