This amazing show is closing early due to low ticket sales, but got a one week extension. The show was supposed to close yesterday, but will now shutter for good on Sunday, after 8 more shows.
This revival is both grand and intimate, allowing the small simple moments of life to be captured effortlessly on stage, while maintaining the show's epic nature. You will be swept away in music and song as 10 years in our nation's history are acted out before you. Many of the problems with the first Broadway production have been solved by adding a lot more heart and continuity. The cast is brilliant, and they all work together as a strong ensemble.
