FOX News sucks...

Even Oscar the Grouch on "Sesame Street" thinks so. This clip from the show has right-wing parents up in arms. "Sesame Street" has joined the long list of things ultra-conservatives don't want their children exposed to, along with Obama, stay-in-school messages, health insurance, and black people...

Groff to join cast of "Glee"...

Jonathan Groff will be reuniting with his "Spring Awakening" co-star Lea Michelle by guest-starring on the Fox hit, "Glee". He will be playing one of Lea's love interests on the show and has signed on for 5 or 6 episodes. Although the writing on the show is mediocre at best, millions of people tune in every week to hear the largely Broadway-alum cast sing popular songs including "Don't Stop Believin" and "Put a Ring on It". Groff will certainly add to the vocal power on the show, having starred in "Spring Awakening" (Tony nomination) and "Hair" in Central Park.

In other Groff news, he has been spotted with a new love interest: Gavin Creel. Strange because Creel took over Groff's role as Claude in "Hair" after he decided not to transfer to Broadway with the show, but to pursue his film and TV career instead (he recently starred in Ang Lee's "Taking Woodstock"). It seems that Groff has found a good way to stay connected to the Broadway show though! The two are keeping their relationship out of the public eye, and have used the time together to swap "I played Claude in "Hair" stories."

It's Turkey Lurkey time on Broadway...

Sean Hayes (Jack from "Will and Grace") and Kristen Chenowith ("Pushing Daisies" and "Wicked" on Broadway) will be starring in the Broadway revival of "Promises, Promises" this Spring.

You have to hand it to Hayes for fighting to bounce back after the "I was on a sit-com for 8 years" curse. He has stayed active showing up in guest-star roles on "30 Rock" and some small movies, but this will be his biggest success since the show ended. It also marks his Broadway debut (he was in "Damn Yankees" last year at City Center Encores!).

Kristen Chenowith keeps raking in the success, having just won an Emmy for her work in "Pushing Daisies". She was last seen on Broadway in "The Apple Tree" (Tony nom.).

"Promises, Promises" by Burt Bacharach (music) and Hal David (lyrics) and Neil Simon (book) has never had a Broadway revival. The original played 1968 - 1972 (1,268 performances). The show features the songs, "I'll Never Fall in Love Again", "Knowing When to Leave", and of course, the ever classic "Turkey Lurkey Time"!

Check out the "CAMP" film version of "Turkey Lurkey" below, it's always good for a laugh...

Rumored love interest for Baldwin on 30 Rock...

Alec Baldwin confirmed that he will have a new love interest on the hit comedy show "30 Rock" (for a 4 episode arch) and the rumor mill is spinning that it may be Julianne Moore! The Academy Award nominated actress and NYC resident seems the perfect fit - classic, funny and beautiful! It would also be nice for her to work near her children as she has not been filming too much lately to be a stay at home mom.

WEZ SEZ: Julianne Moore - Sugar Rush (*****) - I hope the rumors are true!

And the Hosting Position for this year's Oscar's goes to...

Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin

Two old white men... just what the show needed to get the ratings up. And to add insult to annoyance, the two actors have a movie coming out that they are starring in together. Everyone don't roll your eyes at once now. The gay shimmer from naming Adam Shankman as the show's producer has worn off. Now instead of singing and dancing we're going to get awkward comedy. Granted, they're both very funny men, it's just a different tune from last year's host Hugh Jackman (who did an outstanding job).

What do you think about Martin and Baldwin hosting the Oscars next year? Excited? Scared? Bored?

Pee Wee rides again...

Remember Pee Wee? Paul Reubens does, and the 57 year old actor is ready to dust off the old bow-tie and take the show back to the stage - where it all began.

Many people are not aware, but his hit TV show was inspired by his stage show which toured the country, and eventually became Tim Burton's directorial debut "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" in 1986. It's been over 20 years since the movie, and now Paul Reuben's has his eye set on returning to the silver screen. But first he has to prove to the studios that people still love Pee Wee Herman. They do don't they?

Paul Reuben's fall from the public's grace involved charges of child pornography in 2002 which were later reduced to misdemeanor possession of obscenity. All the while claiming his innocence, Reuben's name was being soiled in the tabloids.

"It's a drag to have tabloid baggage. It's weird to have your career be a footnote to that, especially when you love what you do. I'm not giving people that power anymore." -Paul Reubens to Details Magazine, 2009

The question still remains, "Do people still love Pee Wee Herman?" His four week limited engagement will play Club Nokia at LA Live (tickets now available at ticketmaster.com) starting in January. It is a show aimed at an adult audience and the website says it is "appropriate for kids age 16 to 106." How the show is received will be the test on whether or not his next movie gets made.

What do you think? Would you see "The Pee Wee Herman Show Live on Stage", or is it too little too late? Until we see how the public feels about Pee Wee Herman 20 years later, here's a clip from the original movie...

Britney's "3" Music Video...

Britney's latest music video dropped over the weekend. It is in support of her Billboard number 1 hit single "3" (the only new number off her "Singles Collection" greatest hits CD). While the video is a little underwhelming, relying on sloppy editing and coy glances from Britney, the dancing sections really stand out. Britney looks AMAZING! She has pulled her life together and got her body back (the hard way - diet and exercise) and is proving she still has what it takes to put out a hot video. Her comeback has shattered everyone's expectations considering that less than two years ago Britney was in a mental hospital. Now she has released "Circus" with 4 top 20 singles (and "Womanizer" at number 1), toured the world with one of the biggest and most successful tours of all time, and is now back at the top of the charts with "3". What do you think of the video? Be sure to leave comments below...

Halloween's fashion victim...

Paris Hilton was attacked on Halloween! The perpetrator ripped her clothes then safety-pinned them back on. Be warned: the clothes ripper / safety-pinner still lurks around dark corners and is looking for his next safety-pin victim.
