Be careful, it's Friday the 13th...

Don't walk under any ladders, break any mirrors, walk near any black cats or (insert superstitious warning here), it's Friday the 13th!

Levi Johnston calls Jon Gosselin a "good dad"...

Levi Johnston finished part one of his Playgirl photo shoot in NYC yesterday. His manager Tank Jones said it was "fantastic" and that people will see more of Johnston "than they thought".  Apparently there was a hockey stick involved in the shoot - what kind of hockey stick is still to be determined.

Before his photo shoot, Johnston met Jon Gosselin to chat and exchange parenting tips. It was as if the universe willed two of the best fathers on the planet to get together and help each other become even better. The only father that was missing at the meeting was Kevin Federline (who was too busy stuffing his face with Brit Brit's money). If he could have made it, it would have been the perfect trifecta of fathers, but alas...

Levi had a lot to say about Gosselin: "He's a good guy. He's kind of in the same situation I am right now. He's a good dad and he gets a lot of bad press. He's getting the same bad image as I am and it ain't true. I can relate to that."

Johnston plans to take his Playgirl money and party really hard for like a month. Gosselin plans to steal more money from Kate to woo another girlfriend under the age of 25, and K-Fed plans on eating some more.

Update: Sean Hannity apologizes to Jon Stewart...

Sean Hannity apologized to Jon Stewart and Comedy Central on his show last night after being called out on mis-leading video clips (Read Original Story Here). The apology was not enough and did not address the numbers issue (10,000 - the actual number in attendance VS. his claim of 20,000 to 45,000), but it was an apology none-the-less.
Watch it below:

Do you think this apology was enough? Leave comments below...

Carrie Prejean can't handle "inappropriate" behavior...

Carrie Prejean was on "Larry King Live" last night to promote her new book "Still Standing". Prejean seems to cause a scene everywhere she goes, and last night was no exception. The beauty queen with a sex tape and more law-suits than Vanessa Williams, took off her microphone and threatened to walk out of King's show after calling his questions "inappropriate". And we all know that when it comes to being appropriate, Carrie Prejean has the final word. Never mind she broke her contract with Miss America, got fake boobs to help her win the crown, has a sex-tape, and on top of everything has used her stance against gay marriage to make money. Oh yes, she is the very model of appropriate.
Check out the video below... you will not believe your eyes!

The CMAs like Taylor Swift too...

The CMA's: "We like women and black people too!"

In an effort to prove themselves as relevant and not out-of-touch with their current audience (and to prove that they like women), the Country Music Awards gave Taylor Swift four major awards. She went home with Video of the Year Award, Album of the Year, Female Vocalist and the coveted Entertainer of the Year. A female artist has not won the Entertainer award since 1999 (Shania Twain), and for the past 5 years the award went to Kenny Chesney.

The show as a whole seemed to get a face-lift this year as new-comers and younger singers were honored including Darius Rucker, the first Black artist to win New Artist of the Year. In a statement from the CMA's, they said "now that Obama is president, we're going to have to start giving awards to Black people too."

Of course, they don't like ALL black people as the night was not free of Kanye humor. Not only did Little Jimmy Dickens (is that his actual performing name?) come on stage to interrupt someone's speech by saying "Taylor Swift made the best video of all time. Of all time! You go, girl!", but Carrie Underwood sang "Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Kanye."

Let's hope this is the LAST time we have to hear about Kanye's antics at the VMA's. It is OVER. Taylor has more than recovered and was helped more than hindered by his crazy interruption. OK, you can have one more laugh.... "Kanye is crazy!"...  NOW it's over...

Juicy Story: Stewart slams Hannity

Juicy Story:

"The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart accused Fox New's Sean Hannity of splicing video together to make a rally look larger than it actually was. The video shows protesters against the healthcare bill walking in DC on a crisp fall day (with yellow leaves), and the very next clip has seemingly the same group of people standing next to trees covered in green leaves. Stewart claims this was done to make the turnout at the rally seem larger than it actually was. The Washington Post estimated the number of protestors at 10,000 while Hannity and Rep. Michelle Bachmann claim the number was between 20,000 and 45,000.

Fox News (the supposed "Fair and Balanced" News Network) has not released a statement concerning the allegations as of Wednesday, but did say that Sean Hannity would make a statement on his show. Instead of running to the TV to flip on Fox News however, why don't you just keep your eyes here for what he has to say...

News Rocks: Susan Boyle...

Susan Boyle News Rocks:

Susan Boyle (48) was nominated for a People's Choice Award today for Favorite Breakout Artist. She is up against Adam Lambert, Demi Lovato, Kris Allen, and Lady Gaga. Seeing Susan Boyle's face on the line up of stars nominated is odd because she seems so out-of-place. A "regular" person in a "beautiful" people's world. She is so excited and said that she feels like "Cinderella"!

In other Boyle news, Sharon Osbourne caused waves last week when she said on a UK radio show that "[God] gave her the talent. Yes he did. [And] he hit her with a f***ing ugly stick.” Many people were very upset at Osbourne, claiming that Boyle is beautiful...

All of this leading up to Boyle's first CD release, "I Dreamed a Dream" on November 23rd. God help us all, not only is she going to sing one of the most over-done songs in history, she is going to name her CD after it too. The CD is breaking records before it's even released (it has the most pre-orders in Amazon.com history), and all signs point to it opening at number 1 on the Billboard charts.

WEZ Sez: Susan Boyle - Mixed Bag - She's the underdog so you have to root for her, but her voice is not that good.

Jay Leno may be guest starring on Eastwick...

"The Jay Leno Show" on NBC and "Eastwick" on ABC
ABC has pulled the plug on its tragic series, "Eastwick". Reports came flying in when people who saw the show (and it wasn't very many) began clawing their faces off. One person was quoted saying, "I just needed to escape. The show was so bad - I had to take my mind off it." One has to wonder why they resorted to defacing their bodies instead of changing the channel...

Speaking of changing the channel, Jay Leno's 10pm show can't keep people from doing just that. Last Friday it hit an all time low of only 5million viewers and was beat by a re-run of "CSI: Miami". NBC caused a big stir when they announced that they would replace scripted shows in the prime 10pm slot with Leno's talk show. The studio wanted to save money on the scripted shows, as they haven't had a hit since "Heroes" and "ER" ended last season (these shows can cost upwards of 4million an episode). NBC may be regretting this bold move all the way to the bank, as the numbers continue to dip on "The Jay Leno Show". By trying to save money, they may end up losing it.

Meanwhile, Jay Leno has begun to use his un-watched 5 hours of TV a week to send out a plea for a new job. He has expressed interest in guest starring on "Eastwick" as the warlock of the ladies suburban coven of witches. It's a shame that ABC didn't see this request before they axed the show... Oh wait, no one did.

News Rocks: Levi Johnston Update

 Levi Johnston Update

Levi Johnston has arrived in NYC, and in the most twisted news to date concerning the whole Playgirl saga, the photographer who will be shooting him is Greg Weiner! That's right, Weiner! Go ahead and laugh... it's funny. Here's a photo of Johnston being picked up at Newark:

Sesame Street: Happiness Begins at 40...

Sesame Street turns 40 today! That's right... you are THAT old. The hit kids TV show that everyone grew up watching is still churning them out, but so much of the format has changed. Big Bird has booted as the lead on the show, replaced by Elmo (that annoying character that laughs if you tickle him / her). Here's a clip from the show back when WE used to watch it! As it says in the clip... "Happiness Begins at 40"

Happy 40th Birthday Sesame Street!

Oscar Treats...

"PRECIOUS"

Oscar season is beginning to heat up and possible Best Picture nominee, "Precious" had a limited release this past weekend taking in an amazing 1.2million from only 18 screens in 4 cities. The film is a must-see Oscar Treat with award worthy performances all around...

The film deals with the heavy issues of rape, incest, illiteracy, obesity and more with an able hand, and although these topics are quite difficult to watch, you never dis-engage and ultimately hope of a better life prevails, making this a true American story. It will have you thinking and talking about it for days after viewing.

Oscar Watch:
- Gabourey Sidibe as Precious (Best Actress) This no-name breakout star has never been in a movie before. She went to an open call for the film in the Bronx and the rest is history. Her depth of spirit, grace and authenticity carry the film. It would not have worked without her.

- Mo'Nique as her mother Mary (Best Supporting Actress) This is a true a once-in-a-lifetime role for Mo'Nique. Her performance is so full of rage, spite and hate that you will never forget it. She is nearly guaranteed the Oscar.

Other stand-outs include Mariah Carey (Glitter-free), Lenny Kravitz and Sherri Shepherd.

Nicole Kidman will be loving Gwyneth Paltrow...

Nicole Kidman and Gwyneth Paltrow will star in the 2011 film "The Danish Girl" together. Kidman, who is also producing the film, will play the first man to undergo a sex change operation (in 1931). Paltrow will play his (her) wife. It seems both ladies are eyeing another golden statue to place on the shelf...

Brand new "Beat It"...

Pomplamoose (the 2 person California emo-rock cover-band) released it's latest song / music video over the weekend on their youtube page. It is a cover of Michael Jackson's "Beat It". Their last cover that picked up steam (and now has over 2million views) was Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" (Read More). While their latest is not their greatest, it's definitely worth a listen...

Levi to show his Johnston...

Sarah Palin's favorite Alaskan, Levi Johnston will be going the full monty in a photo shoot with Playgirl later this month in New York City. Johnston (19), who has done everything in his power to ruin Palin, has scheduled the shoot on November 13th, with the pictures coming out not long after Palin's book "Going Rogue" is released. In fact, the book's jacket cover will feature out-takes from the shoot below a picture of Palin giving a shame-on-you look.

Not only will Johnston receive a $100,000 payday for showing his goods, he will arrive in the Big Apple a few days before his "big" shoot (on the 11th) to receive the very-prestigious-and-sought-after award, "The Biggest Pop Culture Turned Sex Star" at the First Annual Fleshbot Awards (the ceremony will be held at The Box). Anticipation is building to see how this award will boost his career.

Meanwhile, his baby momma Bristol Palin has said she can't wait for their son Tripp to grow up so he will know that his Daddy had 20 minutes of fame instead of 15...
