Robert Pattinson covers Details...
Robet Pattinson is covering Details Magazine, the magazine for gay guys who like to feel semi-straight and straight guys in the closet, for their March 2010 edition. He is looking hotter than ever and poses for a "80s porn style" photo shoot. You have to hand it to the guy, he is trying his hardest to break away from his teen idol status and is constantly working on small indie projects to off-set his Twilight / Harry Potter fame. He is currently filming Bel Ami (see pictures of him at work HERE), previously played Salvador Dali in Little Ashes, and is starring in the upcoming release Remember Me.
He spoke about playing Tyler in Remeber Me in his interview with Details saying, "Tyler is so aware of his actions. But he has no idea whether they're of any value at all. Can you be a person if you live in the bubble? He's stuck in the middle. At the same time, he's lucky to have the choice. Conflict is innate in a lucky person. I'm a lucky person. Thank God. And I'm conflicted. Thank God." The movie will be released on March 12th, 2010 and is about two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they try to cope with their family tragedies.
R-Pat also talked about his risqué photo shoot saying, "this shoot, it's kind of eighties nakedness, you know? If you look at porn in, like, the eighties, there was something kind of quaint about it, quite sweet—like this little naked community. The people who made it liked it, they had respect for it. Not remotely like the porn that's available now. No community in it at all. It's just everything, everywhere."
He also spoke of his hatred of vaginas. That's right Candy eaters! R-Pat hates the vag. "I really hate vaginas. I'm allergic to vagina. But I can't say I had no idea, because it was a 12-hour shoot, so you kind of get the picture that these women are going to stay naked after, like, five or six hours. But I wasn't exactly prepared. I had no idea what to say to these girls. Thank God I was hungover."
In the future we can look forward to seeing more naked Pat. "I'll be a tiny bit naked. Except tonight I won't, because it's fucking freezing and my balls will shrivel up." (of course he was more than a tiny bit naked in Little Ashes)...

Channing Tatum suffered private injury for "Eagle of the Ninth"...
Channing Tatum for Details Magazine
While filming, they had some shots with the cast standing in ice cold water and, "The only way to keep warm was by pouring a mix of boiling water and river water down your suit. We were finally done shooting for the day, and one of the crew guys asks if I want to warm up before I go. I'm like, Nah, I'm good. And then I thought, Why not?" Chan recounted to the mag. "Thing is, he'd forgotten to dilute the kettle water. So he poured scalding water down my suit. And I was trying to pull the suit away from my body to somehow get away from the boiling water, and the more I pulled the suit away, the lower the water went. It just went straight down and pretty much burned the skin off the head of my dick." "It was the most painful thing I have ever experienced in my life," he said. "I'm good... now. Now my penis is fantastic!" he added. "One hundred percent recovered. Put me back in the game, Coach."
He also discussed his hopes to have a "fat role" in the next five years saying he wants to stop focusing on the gym and start focusing on the calories! His newest film, Dear John opens in February. Read the full interview at Details Magazine HERE.
Before becoming an actor, he was a stripper in Florida and went by the name of Chan Crawford. Watch video of him stripping from US Magazine after the jump...

Pee Wee rides again...

Remember Pee Wee? Paul Reubens does, and the 57 year old actor is ready to dust off the old bow-tie and take the show back to the stage - where it all began.
Many people are not aware, but his hit TV show was inspired by his stage show which toured the country, and eventually became Tim Burton's directorial debut "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" in 1986. It's been over 20 years since the movie, and now Paul Reuben's has his eye set on returning to the silver screen. But first he has to prove to the studios that people still love Pee Wee Herman. They do don't they?
Paul Reuben's fall from the public's grace involved charges of child pornography in 2002 which were later reduced to misdemeanor possession of obscenity. All the while claiming his innocence, Reuben's name was being soiled in the tabloids.
"It's a drag to have tabloid baggage. It's weird to have your career be a footnote to that, especially when you love what you do. I'm not giving people that power anymore." -Paul Reubens to Details Magazine, 2009
The question still remains, "Do people still love Pee Wee Herman?" His four week limited engagement will play Club Nokia at LA Live (tickets now available at ticketmaster.com) starting in January. It is a show aimed at an adult audience and the website says it is "appropriate for kids age 16 to 106." How the show is received will be the test on whether or not his next movie gets made.
What do you think? Would you see "The Pee Wee Herman Show Live on Stage", or is it too little too late? Until we see how the public feels about Pee Wee Herman 20 years later, here's a clip from the original movie...
